Create an account and save your login details

First, open the account creation page in the VPNUR user dashboard. VPNUR doesn’t require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. Fill in the fields and review your details before submitting. This account lets you manage plans, orders, and subscriptions; it doesn’t connect a client. Creating an account and connecting to a route are separate steps.

Use a password manager to save your login details, and choose a unique password for this account. Check your keyboard layout and capitalization before submitting to avoid mistaking a typo for a login issue. If the username is unavailable, follow the prompt and try another one. If you already have an account, sign in to it rather than creating a new one to troubleshoot connection problems.

Once you’re done, open the user dashboard and make sure your account details are visible. You’ll use the same dashboard to choose a plan, get your subscription, and find the client. Don’t include your password in a support ticket or share screenshots showing your account details. If you need help, describe the on-screen message and what you did instead of sharing your login credentials.

Choose a plan and review your order

Once you can access the dashboard, open the plans section and think about how often you’ll use the service. If you use it regularly and your monthly usage is fairly consistent, consider a monthly subscription. If your usage is occasional and you’d rather draw down a balance over time, look at the data plans. Compare how billing and data usage work—not just the price—before choosing a plan.

Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Before upgrading, check the remaining term and order details shown in the dashboard rather than estimating a full month’s difference.

Data plans are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They never expire and remain available until used. “Never expires” applies to the data plan; usage by your client still consumes data. See the plans page for full pricing and billing details. There’s no need to research every advanced use case before getting started.

Choose a plan in the dashboard and check its name, price, and data allowance. Then follow the steps to place your order and pay. VPNUR supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Keep your order details during payment. After completing payment, return to the dashboard and check your order and plan status. If the status hasn’t updated yet, check your existing order before placing another one.

Once your plan is active, continue to the subscription setup. All plans allow unlimited simultaneous devices, and VPNUR offers a 30-day refund policy. See the refund policy for how to request a refund. Check your account overview to confirm that your plan is active and data is available; a closed payment page isn’t proof of either.

Choose this plan

Get your subscription and choose an import method

Open Account Overview in the user dashboard. First check your plan and data status, then find the subscription section. The subscription link gives your client access to route configuration; it isn’t a regular web address or a client installer. Pasting it into a browser address bar won’t import it into your client.

If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, follow the prompts to open it. Your browser may ask whether to open an external app; check the app name before continuing. If the client doesn’t open, make sure it’s installed and has been launched at least once, then copy and import the subscription link manually. There’s no need to click the same option repeatedly.

To import manually, use the dashboard’s copy function, then paste the full link into the subscription URL field in your client. Don’t copy only part of the text from a screenshot or add spaces, punctuation, or line breaks. You can give the import a recognizable name, such as “VPNUR,” but don’t enter that name in the URL field.

If your client says the link can’t be parsed, copy it again from the dashboard and check that the import method matches your client. Don’t edit the link’s parameters. Once you have the subscription, install the client on the device you plan to use and import it. You can use the same account on different devices, but you’ll need to configure each device separately.

Open Account Overview

Import into clients on each platform

Use the Clients section in the user dashboard to find the right option for your platform. For Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux, use the VPNUR client provided in the dashboard. For iOS, follow the dashboard instructions to get a compatible client from the App Store. You need to be signed in to get the client or subscription. Access to client downloads depends on your account plan status. This page doesn’t provide direct installer links.

After installing the client, open it before importing your subscription. During initial setup, use only the VPN client you’re configuring and temporarily close other similar tools that are connected. This helps avoid conflicts with system proxy or VPN settings. Don’t change routing rules, ports, or advanced network options yet; first verify access with the default settings.

Get the Client

Windows: Find the subscription or configuration menu

Select the Windows client in the dashboard, follow the installation instructions, and open it. Find the subscription or configuration menu and choose the option to import from a link. Paste the subscription link you copied from Account Overview into the URL field. Save it, then refresh or download the configuration. Once the route list appears, select the imported configuration as your active one.

After importing, enable the client’s connection feature. If the interface has separate options for connecting and using the system proxy, enable the features required by the dashboard instructions. Seeing route names doesn’t mean your browser traffic is going through the client. If the system shows a permission prompt related to the installation, verify the app’s source and name, then follow the installation instructions. Next, follow the connection verification steps on this page.

macOS: Add a configuration and grant system permissions

Open the macOS client option in the dashboard, install the app, and launch it. In the subscription or configuration manager, choose import from link, paste the complete subscription URL, and save it. Then refresh the configuration. If you use the dashboard’s one-click import option, check that a VPNUR configuration was actually added to the client—not just that your browser opened the app.

When you connect for the first time, the client may request permission to configure system networking. Follow the prompts to grant permission, then return to the client, choose a route, and connect. Status indicators may differ between system proxy and system VPN modes, so follow the client instructions. If you still can’t connect after granting permission, check that the right configuration is selected, then see connection and troubleshooting FAQs. Avoid switching several advanced modes at once.

Android: Import your subscription and allow the VPN connection

Sign in to the dashboard on your Android device and open the Clients section to get the Android client. Open the app, then choose the option to add a link from the subscription or configuration page. Paste the subscription URL and save it. After refreshing, you should see a route list. If the list is empty, first check whether the subscription updated successfully instead of repeatedly tapping the connect switch.

Select a configuration and route, then start the connection. When Android first asks to set up a VPN connection, verify that the request comes from the client you just installed before allowing it. Once connected, open the app you want to use and test it. If the connection drops when you return to the home screen or lock your device, check whether battery management is restricting the client’s background activity. Allow it to run normally in your device settings; there’s no need to disable every battery-saving feature. For more details, see the Android setup guide for beginners.

iOS: Add a subscription and VPN configuration

On your iPhone or iPad, open the Clients page in the dashboard and follow the instructions to get a compatible iOS client. Open the client first, then return to the dashboard and try its import option. If that doesn’t work, copy the subscription link and choose the option to add it by URL in the client’s subscription or configuration section. Don’t paste it into the server field for an individual route.

Save and refresh the subscription, choose a route, then connect. iOS may ask for permission to add a VPN configuration and require you to confirm using your device’s usual unlock method. After granting permission, return to the client and check its connection status, then visit the service you want to use. If your system already has other VPN configurations, make sure the one you imported is connected. Seeing a VPN entry in system settings alone doesn’t mean the current subscription is in use.

Linux: Follow the same import steps

VPNUR also supports Linux. Select the Linux client in the dashboard, install it using the instructions provided, then import and refresh the link from the subscription or configuration menu. Network permissions and proxy settings vary across desktop environments, so this page doesn’t cover system-level commands. For more information, see the user guide rather than applying setup steps from another operating system.

Connect to a route and verify it works

After importing your subscription, refresh the configuration and make sure routes are available. Choose a region based on the service you want to use. If the service requires a specific region, start there; otherwise, try a region you commonly use. VPNUR offers IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes, and direct routes, with coverage in 120+ countries and 250+ routes. Route type alone doesn’t guarantee compatibility with a particular app.

After connecting, check that the client shows a connected status and that the system VPN or proxy status matches the mode you selected. Then open the international site or app you actually want to use and try a typical action, such as loading a page, signing in, or playing content. A visible route list, a running client, and access to your target service are separate steps; check each one.

Keep test conditions consistent when troubleshooting. First test your current route in the same app, then change only the route and test again. Avoid changing your network, region, and connection mode all at once, or it’ll be hard to tell what helped. If a browser works but an app doesn’t, the app may handle proxy settings differently. Check the client instructions before assuming the subscription has failed.

If you can’t access a service, check each step in order: is your account plan active, is data available, can the subscription update, is the right configuration selected, are system permissions granted, and is the connection turned on? Once you’ve checked these, try another route in the same region. Streaming availability may also depend on your account region and the platform’s policies. AI tools may be affected by the service itself. Test the connection to confirm access.

If the issue persists, check the relevant troubleshooting steps in the FAQ or submit a ticket through the user dashboard. Include your device’s operating system, client, selected region, where the error occurs, and what you’ve already tried. If you attach a screenshot, show only the error message and hide your password and subscription URL. These details make it easier to diagnose the problem than simply saying “I can’t connect.”

After your first successful connection, keep the working configuration and route selection. For everyday use, you’ll usually just need to open the client, check your subscription and plan status, and connect. For split tunneling, router setup, or maintenance, read the complete user guide. To compare routes, see how to choose a route by region, type, and use case.
